Outback Groovers is a program founded late 2021 and previously known as “Red Dog Rural Program”. The program was designed to connect youth in rural and outback Australia to the Performing Arts Industry. Metroplitian kids are lucky to have a variety of extra-curricular performing arts activities and resources at their finger tips - We wanted to ensure Rural Youth were being included aswell. Our team of passionate facilitors teach with kindness, high-energy and patience. Performing Arts isn’t just a fun extra-curricular activity, but a place to build confidence, make friends, develop creative processes and be part of a community. We encourage students to come as they are, authentically themselves. Whether that’s in their jeans or logging on from their school room.

We have adored connecting with rural youth thus far and look forward to what 2023 brings our students!
